»I
have to say that I have done some pretty cool things and
met some extraordinary people within the short time that
I have been with the WWE but what I am about to tell pretty
much takes the cake! This week I was able to meet true
heros...the men and women of Fort Hood Military base in
Texas. I was one of the lucky few on behalf of the WWE
that went to a celebration for the troops of the Forth
Infantry - those that captured that "rat in a hole",
Saddam Huessen. Finally, our men and women got to celebrate
with a huge homecoming bash that was thrown in their honor.
I was in the presence of those whom I look up to most...the
soldiers that give their lives for the life of our country
and for that they will always be my hero and I will always
be grateful.
Being my first time ever on a military base, Fort Hood
is a true world of it's own. Within it's 385 square
miles, there is everything that one could ever need;
from grocery stores to mall and movie theatres...it
is it's own city with over 300,000 soldiers and their
families living amongst one another. I was in total
awe of how wonderful everyone treated one another; now
if we can only get the rest of the world to do so.
Within the two days of festivities,
I was able to attend a cocktail dinner the first evening.
There I was able to meet soldiers and their families
and talk to them in a very relaxed, informal atmosphere.
I had the honor of being introduced to the Secretary
of the United States Army, as well as General Orandorf,
who led soldiers to the capture of Saddam, along with
General Hickey who was very instrumental in finding
Saddam. That evening I had the privilege of visiting
wounded soldier at a hospital on base. It was so inspirational
to see the life in all their eyes when I spoke to them
- some of them so badly injured, yet not an ounce of
giving up. I was very glad that I was able to be meeting
all these men and women and their families...it is something
that I will truly never forget.
The following day was full of fresh
air and excitement! I was accompanied by WWE Superstars
Undertaker, Shawn Micheals, Stone Cold Steve Austin,
Coach and Lita for non stop fun. Not was only WWE there
to share in the celebrations but there were music icons
from Lynard Skynard to Randy Travis to Jessica Simpson!
So many others performed as well all day long for the
thousands and thousands troops to say thank you for
all they have done. Autographs were signed, pictures
were taken, interviews were conducted but one of the
most memorable things was the presentation of army jackets
to us that had the very limited Forth Infantry patch
on it. Everyone kept thanking us for being there but
it was our honor to be in their presence; presence of
heros!

»What an incredible
week! What an incredible experience! I'm of course talking
about being the manager of the new SmackDown! Tag Team
champs of Rico and Charlie Haas. I think it was a total
surprise to the fans, not to mention those of us that
were directly involved, that the titles were won from
Rikishi and Scotty Too Hottie this week on SmackDown!
If you don't really keep up with the wrestling world,
then let me bring you up to speed! Last week was the debut
of Rico and myself, Miss Jackie, on SmackDown! Amongst
all the glitz and glamour of the ever-so flamboyant Rico,
when it's time to get down to business, he doesn't waste
any time. The first ever "Rico's Runway" was
a total hit, as was Charlie's butt - Rico had gotten a
handful of his opponent, Charlie Hass, and was able to
"prance" away with his debut on SmackDown a
win! Now, if you know a thing or two about the World Wrestling
Entertainment, anything can and will happen. So, when
Charlie got literally sick from Rico's antics, that was
just to be the beginning. This week Charlie had a "mystery
tag team partner" and it just so happen to be no
one other than Rico, with me by his side of course. I
have never had more fun than I did at ringside for the
title match. I was in total awe of the talent of everyone
involved, Rico, Charlie, Rikishi and Scotty had such an
entertaining match that the crowd roared at. I would write
a novel talking about the fun that Rico and I have had
thus far working together but we really don't have time
for that now. So, just be sure to tune into Thursday Night
SmackDown on UPN @ 8 E.S.T. not to be let down! |
»If I ever had to mention anything about my first
love, it would probably be a bit different than most
others. It entails huge ears, big white gloves for hands,
well, a tail and it's spelled M I C K E Y M O U S E
!!! Ok, ok, so I am still a total kid at heart - you
really can't fault me for that, can ya!?! This week
I was able to visit my best mouse friend yet again,
thanks to one of my very best friends ever, Scott! I
swear, you get the two of us together and there is destined
to be a bit of trouble...but that good, fun type of
trouble!
After two weeks on the road, I was lucky enough to
be able to spend a few of my "off days" in
Orlando, FL. It truly is my home away from home - hopefully
to be my home-home one day. Even though I only had a
few days there, every minute of each day was going to
be full of fun and excitement, I just knew it - after
all, anything that has to do with Uncle Sanchez and
an Alaska Pipeline has fun written all over it! I was
greeted in the airport by a good ol' friend of mine,
Coach, and it was off to work. You see, Scott and I
have this contest to see who can come up with the most
decorative costume to greet one another at the airport
with...and this last time it was an old coach of mine
- I knew I was in for an exciting few days.
So, throughout the next few days, I got to love Orlando
more and more, visiting almost every Disney theme park
and playing like a little kid....it was great! However,
it wasn't all play and no work - well, at least for
Scott. I had a few media things to do while I was there,
one of which was really cool. I was a guest on a radio
talk show "NatChat", a Daytona Beach Saturday
morning radio show for kids - hosted by an adorable
11 year old girl, Natalie! Yes, she is only 11 years
old and she is going for the Guinness Book of world
Records as the youngest radio talk show host ever! I
had a blast being a guest and talking about anything
for wrestling to how popular I really wasn't in high
school. What a great girl, I wish you the best Natalie!
Being in Orlando for the few days really reminded me
of what a warm weather baby that I am. Now don't get
me wrong, I love my snow at Christmas time but I'll
take 85 degrees and yes, humidity, over 2 degrees and
slush almost any day of the year! I'd like to day thanks
to all of my awesome friends at Universal Studios, Disney
and Channel 13 News...all of you guys make it so much
fun time after time that I visit! I only have one more
thing to say..."it's all good" when it comes
to Orlando!!

»Was I ever excited when I flew
into Chicago O'Hare to shoot with a photographer that
I was really psyched about...Rudi Ayasse! I had really
prepared for this photo shoot and was really excited
that it was finally here. Between my trainer Jeff, Rudi
and myself we had a lot of cool ideas what and where
to shoot for new Planet Jackie photos. Rudi was able
to book an awesome location to shoot at...Club Rive
in downtown Chicago. The owner of this outstanding niteclub,
Nick, really was a pleasure to work with and a ton of
fun! Everything went off with total ease - from the
perfect makeup, done by Robert White, to the great lighting.
I really want to thank those that made this shoot fun
and able to happen...Jeff Hammond, Rudi Ayasse, Nick,
Robert White and so many others that helped me to get
my butt whipped into shape! Let me be the first one
to say that "whipping my butt into shape"
isn't the easiest job out there, so thanks for all your
support! Ok, time to go get some pizza!

»This week was a crazy week for me.....but one
of those great kind of crazies! Being at RAW and SmackDown
this week gave me a taste of what it was like when the
two WWE brands were not split yet. For those of you
who really don't keep up with the WWE, this week was
a huge turning point for all of the Superstars. This
week was the lottery/draft of RAW and SmackDown! Superstars.
After being by the side of Rico since my debut as "Miss
Jackie" nearly a half year ago things have never
ever been better, more exciting and more nonstop. Being
a RAW Diva for the past six months, I have now traded
in for the red ropes of Monday Night RAW to the blue
ropes of Thursday Night SmackDown! I am fortunate enough
to have Rico still standing by my side and giving ME
makeup tips! The lottery/ draft that happened on the
RAW on 3-22, traded A-Train and Chuck Pulumbo from SmackDown
for Rico and myself. So, what does this mean for Rico
and I? Well, you'll have to tune in to find out! I can
say however that there are more than a few SmackDown
Superstars that Rico can't wait to give makeover tips
to!
When Rico and I found out that we would be traded to
SmackDown!, I won't lie, I was a bit nervous. After
all, just as I was really starting to feel a true part
of the RAW family, I was about to leave my Monday night
home and knock on the door of a new Thursday night home
of SmackDown! Let me say that I knew things were going
to be different - but all for the best for Rico and
I.
I think the hardest thing about leaving RAW was that
I was going to miss my best friends there...not to say
that I won't acquire new great friends at SmackDown!
it's just that I would be starting anew. I was to begin
a new chapter in my WWE career...kind of like a job
transfer. Of course I will always have my dear friends
on the RAW side, I just wouldn't be seeing as much of
them - after all, RAW tours Friday through Tuesday,
while SmackDown tours Saturday through Wednesday...some
of the same days but totally different towns. I am going
to miss mostly my dearest friend in the whole wide world
- WWE Women's Champ Victoria...we are like two peas
in a pod and I will miss her with all my heart. But
who is to say that just because I won't see these people
four days a week that our friendships still won't be
strong - I have a feeling they will only get better!
Speaking of getting better, this week was my first week
of media publicity for my new home, SmackDown. I was
in Columbus, Ohio on Friday promoting the upcoming SmackDown
show for next week on Tuesday 3-30 @ Nationwide Arena.
It was a day of radio interviews, television shows,
autograph sessions and a hockey game to top it all off!
I had a blast all day long and meet some awesome folks.
While I am on the subject of awesome folks, let me give
a shout-out to Wags and Elliot of WLQ radio in Columbus,
Ohio along with Fat Johnny of WBZX radio. Also, I'd
like to say thanks to all the folks at the FOX Sports
News television and radio stations who made the Columbus
Blue Jackets hockey game, my first ever hockey game,
a night to remember!

»Wow, where do I even start on this one!! I would
like to start off by saying thank you to each and every
one that made this trip possible and the people that
worked so hard during the tour
and to each
of the fans who support us oversees - thank you for
making it possible for us to put on such a great show
for you guys! I was one of the lucky one's this time
..my
first oversees tour with the WWE and what a remarkable
one it was - Japan. I was told it would be an experience
that I would never forget and boy will I never. From
the "momeaggie" chants for Rico (means sideburns
in Japanese) to the beer bash with Stone Cold, each
night was a night to remember! Even though the travel
is close to a day long- 21 hours to be exact, from NYC
to Tokyo - it was well worth every minute on a plane
and or on a bus! After a grandiose arrival in Tokyo,
the first night there was as close to a "settle
in night" as one could get; after all, our bodies
had no clue what time it was (there is a 14 hour time
difference from the east coast of the Us to Japan).
Our first day was in Hiroshima. I was so amazed to
how welcoming the people are there and how well respected
we are - what a total honor. I spent the good part of
the day before the show sightseeing around the city.
From the first ever "real" sushi bar I had
ever been to, to shopping in their "outdoor"
malls, to visiting the site of where the atomic bomb
hit, as well as visiting the Hiroshima museum. Even
though it was the first day we were in Japan, I knew
that after seeing such a city as Hiroshima and taking
in the history that it may be hard to surpass - and
that it was. After the sightseeing was through for the
day, I headed to my first ever oversees show. Rico and
I were first match and the crowd was HOT! It was truly
a feeling that I will never forget and what a different
type of crowd than in the states. Instead of the "hooting
and hollering" that is so much the American type
of response, the Japanese sit and really study the matches
taking
in each and every move, offensive and defensive. You
could hear a pin drop in between moves at times, not
because the fans aren't into the match but the exact
opposite; because they are so much into the match! And
each night it only got better and better! Although,
I would have to say that one of my most memorable moments
in the WWE happened the second night while we performed
in Osaka. My first Stone Cold Steve Austin Beer Bash!
Well, let's just say that it wasn't as much of a bash
as it was a BATH! I never knew it was possible for only
a handful of people to go through 4 to 5 cases of beer
so quickly!
Tokyo, what a crowd - 20,000 plus cheering you on,
what a rush! Our final night in Japan was one to defiantly
remember. What an awesome show, what an awesome crowd,
what a way to wrap us such an awesome tour! And once
again, the "momeagiee" chants didn't fail
Rico. Our final night in Japan didn't fail us either
as
far as "experiencing" Tokyo's nightlife -
Repungee!! Most of us gathered onto a bus for our last
night out and was it ever a night out! From bonding
with the great fans to eating my final piece of sushi,
it will be a night that I will always be thankful for
and remember!
Once again, I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone
who made this trip possible; it will be something that
I will never forget and hope that I will get to do again.
And a final thank you to our great fans in Japan
the
gifts were wonderful and very much appreciated; thank
you for taking the time to show your appreciation! Speaking
of appreciation, I have a newfound respect for rest...and
boy am I ready to get plenty of it!
I'd like to give a special birthday wish this week
to someone who many of you may know. Even though she
is a bit "crazy" at times, ya gotta love her...Victoria!
Love Always & All Ways,
Jackie
